Dylan founded College Ventures during his senior year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. What originated as an idea during his daily gratitude training, has actualized as a non-profit organization with hundreds of college students collaborating in order to raise money for underprivileged high school seniors who want to attend college.

Dylan brings his experience and passion for non-profits to the forefront in helping College Ventures scale and reach new fundraising milestones every year. His goal is to make a positive impact on as many students as possible and help support the next generation of compassionate leaders. Aside from College Ventures, Dylan works as a corporate strategy associate at a biotech company and enjoys reading, running and golfing in his free time.

Andrew Platt

Board Member

Andrew brings his knowledge of law and his enthusiasm for higher education to College Ventures. He is an esteemed professional who has practiced law for over 30 years.

 

Aside from College Ventures, Andrew is a Managing Partner at Kluever & Platt, a law firm specializing in commercial litigation.

Mary joined College Ventures, as our mission strongly aligns with her personal and professional goals in assisting to provide access to higher education for low-income families. Mary is honored and privileged to provide her expertise in non-profit management as a board member of College Ventures.

 

Aside from College Ventures, Mary is the CEO of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS), a non-profit which enhances the care of women with gynecologic cancer through education and public awareness.

Mitchell Abrams 

Board Member

Mitchell possesses extensive knowledge and experience with starting, building and growing for-profit and not-for-profit companies, and he plans to utilize his skills to help College Ventures thrive. 

 

Aside from College Ventures, Mitchell is the Managing Director of Homewatch CareGivers Northshore. He is also involved as a board member of numerous non-profit organizations.

Jacob Tennant

Board Member

Jacob is passionate about providing students from all outlooks of life the chance to obtain a higher education. He provides College Ventures with the knowledge and skills obtained through years of work with a wide array of non-profit organizations. 

Aside from College Ventures, Jacob is a full time student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has past experience in the legal and business fields. Upon graduation, he plans to attend Law School.
